Minnesota Deer Hunters Association

My son-in-law, granddaughter, and I took a quick trip to the DECC today. We browsed the booths put on by the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. It was a good time. We checked out the one-piece deer stands being made right here in Minnesota. We , also, visited a booth which makes very artistic boxes out of solid pieces of wood. But the highlight of the day was the Wall of Shame.

This exhibit featured various game animals, mostly deer, which were captured illegally. And what a shame it was, for all of these magnificent specimens had to be forfeited. To have such wonderful trophies and then have to give them up would be heartbreaking. I guess if you can't play by the rules what can you expect.

All in all, it was a good show. It only lacked in quantity. Don't expect to spend much time here because there is not a lot to see. The few booths they did have were interesting but, they needed more.
